Exactly what I needed, and nothing more or less.

Quiet, transparent tone. I'm using this with a bass tube preamp. It sounds very nice. It has some punch when you need it. I had to turn my bass eq knob up a bit, as this power amp doesn't add colour.

I already owned one Baby Sumo that I use with a collection of preamps twice a week. It has been rock-solid, low noise, lightweight and portable. Besides that, it looks like a literal piece of art. I've had zero issues so far despite using it constantly. However, I'm actually going on tour in a few weeks out of the country, so I wanted to buy a backup one just in case the power where I'm at is finicky or poor and fries my main Sumo (it's still 120V there, but you just never know).

Three things I wish the sumo had A power indicator light on the front of the unit An additional balanced input for XLR direct out from my bass amp. My amps send is only Pre EQ, but the balanced XLR out can be switched between pre and post EQ. Volume Knob needs a white line so I can see where the volume is set. Still 5 stars.

Love it! Simple clean amp with a high-quality build. The price is good and they shipped it directly after I placed the order. The amp is even a bit smaller than expected. I use it for bassguitar and double bass and for different styles by changing preamps. Only small remark is that the case is not very practical because such a small amp will go in one case with preamp, effects and cables. But to summarize: great amplifier!

I was looking for this - a simple, clean power amp for my bass rig. It's quiet and lots of headroom. The communication prior to and during my order was outstanding. Highly recommend!

Impressive little thing!

I have only had a few days to review it, but so far the power amp is a very fine piece of equipment. Totally quiet, works great, does not appear to "color" the sound at all. Which is just what I wanted. Looking forward to gigging with it later this week.

I haven't been able to test it yet, but the lunchbox is awesome, and the aesthetics immaculate.

Great power amp! It's loud, it's crystal clear and strong built. Did I mention that the amp is super compact and light? Well it is! I use it for playing bass wich works great. The solution for the bassist who works with preamp pedals and who dont want to carry a 19' poweramp around, or a whole bass amp only to use the power amp section. This amp will fit neatly into your pedalboard, next to your darglass (or and other) preamp pedal.

This beast is tiny - but it IS a beast! Using it for bass guitar and upright bass in a Death / Thrash Metal and a Metal'n'Roll-band ... We play loud, but the Baby Sumo plays louder :D Really surprised how well this small power amp performs ...

Does everything I hoped for and nothing that I didn't. Stellar results pairing this with a Grace Designs AliX preamplifier.

Great amp; strong, clean and quiet! I am waiting for a MXR81 basspreamp, that should drive this amp to heaven! I mostly play a semihollow fretless bass.
